Some of our past residential pond projects
|
Nice pond built on a slope in Bow Lake. We built this into the clients' existing retaining wall just above the waterfront.
|
Another company had started this project but it leaked, would not support fish and the waterfall was facing away from the client's
home. Once we started, we found that the other company dumped a yard of gravel down into the pond to fix the leak! We ended up
rebuilding from scratch.
|
The client started this on his own but it became a bit too much. This pond features a large waterfall and a stream that splits into
two courses. It also has an underwater bench and stairs so the owner can get in and relax like a pool. We even put in a sand beach
and sand in the bottom of the pond for smooth walking. There are two 57w UV lights and a veggie filter to keep the pond sparkling clean and clear.
|
We did a yard cleanup, plantings and a medium/large pond construction project for this wonderful family in Hooksett. The pond features
three waterfalls in different styles, a stepping stone in the center and a nice plant filtration pond up top. We did the irrigation,
electrical and lighting work too. We used the rock that we excavated to build a bench, a retaining wall and stairs.
|
This became a pondless waterfall since children often played nearby. We did the land clearing, construction, electrical, pond plantings,
the surrounding mulch (with 20-year weed barrier) and since this photo, additional plantings around the perimeter.
|
A nice pond utilizing the natural rock formation in this Massachusetts client's yard. We did the pond and surrounding landscaping on this one.
We were just finishing when a torrential rain and thunderstorm broke on us. The client was nice enough to agree to place the last few rocks after
we left.
|
Large pond with two different waterfall styles and a bog garden added to the left side (not pictured). We had a narrow area to develop so this
pond became long and thin which we used to our advantage. It allowed us to spread out the waterfalls and contour plant shelves and fish
hideaways easily. By the way, we were in the middle of building this pond in the heat of June and it started hailing on us.
|
Informal pond in New Hampshire. Two koi live under the stepping stone but come out to greet all visitors
to this home.
|
We were called to fix a previous homeowner's disaster in this family's back yard. The liner was showing
all around, the gravity filter was just sitting at the top of the waterfall, wood pieces held up the liner,
there were plumbing errors and leaks all over. We tore it all out and rebuilt everything except the main
pond.
